Purpose & Passion

Purpose and passion are often presented as though everyone should have a clearly defined calling, an extraordinary mission, or something they were simply born to do. I am not convinced it is quite that straightforward. Sometimes purpose emerges gradually, through experience, loss, opportunity, responsibility, curiosity, and the things that continue to matter to us long after everything else has changed. I am interested in the distinction between having a purpose and feeling that you have to find some grand reason for your existence. Purpose may be found in the way you live, the people you influence, the contribution you make, or the values you refuse to compromise. Passion may not always be loud or obvious either. It can be found in what energizes you, what moves you, what you care deeply about, and what you are willing to keep showing up for. This is about exploring what gives your life meaning and what makes you feel genuinely alive, without forcing your purpose or passion into someone else’s definition of what a meaningful life should look like.

Here, we explore different avenues of faith, belief, spiritual practice, and the curiosity to discover what rings true, peaceful, and joyful for you. While my own foundation is biblical, this does not preclude me from seeking wisdom, insight, and greater depth from other perspectives as I continue to grow in my own spiritual connection. I invite you to do the same, to explore with an open mind, question what you encounter, and discover what speaks to your heart and resonates with your own beliefs. You are invited to explore the quotes below and see if any of them speak to you, resonate with your own faith and beliefs, or simply give you something to think about.
