Awareness & Truth

Awareness sounds simple until you begin to consider how much of your life you move through without actually noticing what is happening. We can become so accustomed to our thoughts, beliefs, reactions, habits, and assumptions that we mistake familiarity for truth. What we believe to be true may simply be what we have been told, what we have experienced, or what we have repeated to ourselves for long enough. I am interested in what happens when we become willing to look more closely. Not just at the world around us, but at ourselves. Awareness asks us to notice without judging, defending, explaining, or changing what we find. Truth then asks something more of us: are we willing to see what is actually there, even when it challenges what we would prefer to believe? This is not about claiming that there is one simple truth that everyone must accept. It is about developing the courage and curiosity to question, observe, discern, and become more honest about what we believe, what we know, and what we still need to discover.

Here, we explore different avenues of faith, belief, spiritual practice, and the curiosity to discover what rings true, peaceful, and joyful for you. While my own foundation is biblical, this does not preclude me from seeking wisdom, insight, and greater depth from other perspectives as I continue to grow in my own spiritual connection. I invite you to do the same, to explore with an open mind, question what you encounter, and discover what speaks to your heart and resonates with your own beliefs. You are invited to explore the quotes below and see if any of them speak to you, resonate with your own faith and beliefs, or simply give you something to think about.
